Background
This was my next branding project after Mint CLown Ice Cream. You can tell it has the same look and feel as it predisessor, not sure why I made two food brands back to back maybe I was just hungry that week.

Process
I consider this a sister project to Mint Clown. It has the same feel, and I wanted to use many of the layouts I used for that project. I’m not sure how I got the idea for this one either, but I started on paper much more than my last project, sketching out designs and coming up with two logos.
I wanted to keep both simple and cute. Even though the brand “Devil Burger” is a little intimidating for a burger spot, I wanted to make the logo inviting and cheerful. I started out with a different design closer to the one I drew up, but it was a little too all over the place for my liking, so I cleaned it up and simplified it to be more inviting.
Process
I don’t have too much to say about this project other than that I’m happy with it and want to keep doing branding assignments. I think my next branding project is going to be completely different. Mint Clown Ice Cream and Devil Burger were very similar and I need to change it up. Maybe a badge-style logo or wordmark for my next one rather than a cheerful mascot character.
