While working on Good TV, I had the idea of making a movie trailer similar to many modern horror trailers you see today. I landed on the Idea for Absolute Paranoia, the trailer follows a college student who is stalked by a masked entity.

This was the first time I had ever written and directed a full project. Though it was with my friends and a low-stress situation, I still took it pretty seriously. This seriousness on set made me feel like I gained a lot. Especially when it comes to knowing the process of filmmaking , understanding the importance of planning, and executing a shoot on multiple location with a deadline. The whole project went pretty smoothly even with this two day shooting window.

I wanted to capture the weirdness of modern movie trailers and I believe this was successful. Many of the scenes feel like there is a story there, yet still feel all over the place. This leaves the viewer slightly confused but intrigued which is exactly what you want when showing off a trailer. In the end I am happy with the outcome but would not have minded one or two more days to shoot.
