This is my graphic design Capstone and final project here at UMass Dartmouth. I will be updating this page as well as adding more pages as it develops further. My idea for my capstone is creating my own TV channel, Good TV, and creating advertisements and bumpers for a whole “Ad break” that would be shown on this channel.

Process
After getting my concept and basic Idea down, I began to sketch on both Illustrator and paper. I soon came up with a few looks I liked but wanted to keep it simple, leading me to fall into what I ended up choosing, a plain normal-looking circle heavily inspired by the TNT, ABS, and CBS logos. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to come to this look, I was battling with myself the whole way through “is this to simple, no now its to complex”. In the end I am happy with my pick and it can be used successfully in more ways as well as captures the overall feel of the channel I was going for.
For the colors, I was inspired by lava lamps, as well as abstract backgrounds seen on many streaming sites. I created slightly different versions for each bumper as well as some mockups and static ads with this color scheme.
