I picked rubber knowing I could go in a fun direction. There was a lot I could do, from a ball bouncing, to the word stretching out, or what I ended up picking with the letters themselves being rubber bands. I had never used After Effects for anything like this before, so it was very new to me. I first used the move tool to create the wave effect, but it wasn’t good enough. Experimenting more, I ended up using the puppet tool to get the points to move more predictably. This allowed for a more impactful look rather than how it was before, kinda all over the place.
